The OceanSled® Ranger is built to military specification and is Shift’s most advanced autonomous uncrewed surface vehicle (USV) designed for maritime tasking, modular payloads and rugged operations in the littoral domain. Equipped with the customer in mind, using state-of-the-art sensors, and real-time data integration capabilities, the OceanSled® Ranger is a versatile solution for both materiel movements and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance.
The Field Control Station (FCS) is an integrated hardware solution for multi-domain autonomous platform and vehicle control (C2), with C4-ISR software-defined upgrade paths. Our integrated system hosts the CiMS™ software in the field and connects integrated hardware solutions to the CiMS™ cloud platform. The FCS provides data fusion for multiple rapidly deployable sensors, edge computing options, and IoT integrations. With the optional Advanced Communications Kit, the FCS can stand-up field communications for teams, and a band width aware backlink connection for remote management.
Shift’s Coastal Intelligence Management System (CiMS™) is a cutting edge maritime domain awareness software platform designed for littoral ISR and marine security. CiMS™ operates across air, sea, and subsea domains. CiMS™ is developed to work seamlessly with Shifts OceanSled® autonomous surface vessels as well as a variety of commercially available (COTS) autonomous systems. CiMS™ enables remote stakeholders to interact with field deployed assets in real time. As a sensor and vehicle-agnostic solution, CiMS™ provides seamless integration of pan-domain data, supporting effective decision-making in complex operational environments.
Shift’s Incident Reconnaissance and Intelligence (IRI) drone package integrates a suite of payloads with CiMS™ software providing a complete system to gather and disseminate high-quality data. Users can quickly comprehend their maritime domain with a host of data types, including visual and infrared cameras, air quality sensors, and a water sampling kit. Integrate aerial operations with the real-time CiMS™ dashboard by combining critical information from aerial, surface, and subsea domains into a sharable map-based visualization system.
The thin line towed array system is designed for detecting surface and sub-surface threats. It utilizes passive listening techniques to detect and classify underwater contacts such as submerged objects, vessels, and potential threats. The integration of this towed array on an autonomous USV enables low-cost, mobile subsurface surveillance, a capability traditionally requiring large naval vessels. This system when scaled is intended to provide counter narco, counter AUV or unmanned ASW (Anti-Submarine Warfare) capability without manned naval support, offering covert nearshore surveillance with a low radar signature.
